Transcript Requests
Graduates of PGHS: You can send your transcripts one of two ways:
1. FREE: You should be able to still use the CFNC free transcript service if you need your transcript to go to an in-state school. Go to www.cfnc.org to send your transcripts for FREE. Follow the directions for the current students (below) to navigate the www.cfnc.org website. If you have issues using the site call the 1-866-866-CFNC (2362) number to contact CFNC.
2. SMALL FEE $: If you have trouble using the CFNC service or if you are sending your transcript to an out of state or specialty school or scholarship program, then you can send your transcript through the Randolph County School System Scrib Order Website. This method does require a small fee to use.
Currently Enrolled PGHS Students:
IF YOU ARE ATTENDING A NORTH CAROLINA COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY,
YOU MUST REQUEST YOUR TRANSCRIPT THROUGH CFNC:
1. Login to CFNC.
2. Click "Apply" tab.
3. Click "To College" link.
4. Click "Application Hub" link.
5. In the "Request My Transcript" section, make sure all information is entered correctly, especially:
- First and Last names must match your name in Power School
- Power School Student Number (lunch number) is entered under "Student No"
- Gender is selected
- Birth date is entered
- Providence Grove High School is listed under "Most Recent High School:"
6. Then you can easily check the boxes to request CFNC to send a transcript to NC Colleges and some scholarship programs.
7. You can follow the progress of your transcript on this same page. Clicking on the + sign will show you the progress and even allow you to view an "unofficial copy" of your transcript.
If you need a paper copy of your transcript or if you are going to an out of state school, you can order through Scriborder. If you would like to pick up your transcript from the school then make sure you note that in the special instructions box. If you use Common App to apply, then the counselor(s) will send your transcript "in progress" electronically through those websites. You will need our emails to utilize Common App.
